Pick a Party offers two different types of kit available to hire:  

Colour Themed Kits and Themed Kits. 

Colour Kits

The Colour Kits are great for brightening up a party venue. They work best when you want to add colour the venue but don’t want a particular ‘theme’ or ‘character’ at your party. Equally, if you already have your own additional props,  the Colour Kits is an eco-conscious way adding colourful tableware and decorations.

These kits contain:

Up to 30 coloured plastic plates, bowls and cups in your kit colour

A wipe clean tablecloth to match your kit colour

A light to decorate the cake table

Noticeboard complete with a personal message of your choice

‘Happy Birthday’ banner

Coloured bunting

A cake stand

Napkins 

Four additional white wipe clean tablecloths

Themed Kits

If you have a particular theme at your party or your child loves a particular character then our Themed Kits provide all the props you need to add extra detail to the party venue to make it look amazing. 

These kits contain:

Up to 30 coloured plastic plates, bowls and cups to match the theme

A wipe clean tablecloth to match the theme

A themed light/s to decorate the cake table

Noticeboard complete with a personal message of your choice

‘Happy Birthday’ banner or backdrop

Coloured bunting

Themed bunting or backdrop

A cake stand

Additional props to match the theme

Themed napkins

Four additional white wipe clean tablecloths

Pick a Party Kits include: plates, cups, bowls and decorations to decorate your venue. 

The kits do not include the tape needed to secure our decorations. We advise using Scotch Magic tape. 

You may also want to consider additional decorative and catering items such as: tablecloths for party food tables, trays for food, jugs for drinks, spoons for ice cream and a speaker for music.

For an additional price, we can supply as much or as little as you need. Please see our ‘Party Kit Extras’ page for more details.

Please note, Party Kit Extras can only be hired along with a Party Kit.

Yes but we ask that only plastic cutlery but used so as to prevent damage to the plates and bowls. We can provide this free of charge if requested.

We can arrange party bags for you for an additional cost. Please contact us to discuss this. 

If you have a particular theme which you would like to hire that we currently do not have, please contact us to discuss your requirements.

We want to make your party experience as easy as possible for you so we will wash up. At the end of your event, simply wipe any excess food or liquids off the plates, cups, bowls and tablecloths and place them in the box provided. We will do the rest.

After each party, Pick a Party thoroughly wash and disinfect all plates, cups, bowls, cake stands and cutlery. Props and tablecloths are cleaned and disinfected. All items in the kit are washed and disinfected again prior to hire.

Included within your pack will be a set of care and set up instructions with photographs to show how to dress the cake table. These are just suggestions. You are free to design your room however you think works best for your event.

Yes, all items are suitable for outdoor use in dry weather.

To make a booking, simply contact us via our ‘Enquire’ page and we will discuss your requirements with you. To confirm your booking, we take a £30 deposit. This is fully refunded, using your original payment method, 7 days after your event (so long as all equipment is returned to us without damage).

Full payment of your Party Kits is due 7 days before your event. 

Payments can be made via bank transfer or cash. 

All kits include free delivery and collection within East Leake. Item hire greater than £45 includes free delivery within a 5 mile radius. Delivery beyond 5 miles will incur a delivery fee. Please contact us for details. Free collection from East Leake is also available.

We are a small, local business so do not offer any discount on our prices. However, we do offer regular promotional offers and incentives so please follow our social media pages to keep up to date with these.

We guarantee hire of our party kits for the full day on the day of your party. We will confirm exact time frames on confirmation of payment and this will be dependent on our delivery/collection times and availability.

Should you wish to borrow the party kit for longer, please contact us to discuss availability and pricing. 

As well as being convenient, our aim is to reduce the amount of items being sent to landfill at the end of a party. With the exception of napkins, all the items in our party kits are reusable. We also look for ways to recycle our items, whenever this is possible. 

Yes, we can cater for larger parties. Please get in touch to discuss your requirements.
